Considering Ministry? Seek Clarity on a Discernment Retreat.

What’s Next?
A Discernment Retreat for Seminarians and Recent Grads
August 15-20 – Springfield, OR

You have heard the “call,” you have responded, and you have gone to the seminary. Now, you may be wondering, “What’s Next?” Perhaps you are considering parish-based ministry, or community development, or advocacy work, or something else that has yet to be named and articulated. Whether graduation is months or years away, or you have just crossed the threshold out of academics, taking time to stop and listen and discern can help get a sense of focus and direction for those next steps in ministry.

Wilderness Journeys is offering a week-long retreat for seminarians and recent grads to discern and consider those next steps. Take some time to step away, pray, listen, and consider what your next steps might be.

Through a combination of spiritual direction (led by Jeff Savage), community building, and backpacking (led by Jonathan Malone), you will be given space and guidance to discern what your “next step” might be.
