Mental Health Resources

Ministry can be incredibly rewarding, but it also comes with unique challenges. During Mental Health Awareness Month, let’s extend a helping hand to our fellow pastors and ministry leaders.

We have multiple resources available for pastors and ministry leaders. Consider some of the following.

1. ABC Nebraska offers all pastors a FREE annual mental health check-up through our clergy wellness grant. To schedule your annual check-up, contact:

2. The MMBB Cares portal is a secure registration site designed for clergy and their families to receive critical mental health and wellness resources they need to minister to their religious communities effectively. Among the service providers available, you can choose between several approaches that best fit your needs.
MMBB Cares has partnered with National EAP to deliver mental health counseling services and with the Center for Career Development and Ministry, and Ministry Development Network to provide career coaching services to participants. MMBB Cares counseling and coaching services are provided at no cost to clergy who register.  Visit

3. Seminary Now offers a range of video courses designed to support their mental and spiritual well-being. These courses taught by experienced pastors, theologians, and mental health professionals, provide practical tools, valuable insights, and a sense of community for those committed to holistic health. Consider viewing a course or gifting it to a leader in your life who could benefit from this support. It’s a thoughtful way to show you care and empower them to thrive in their calling.
