Youth Track for Convention

NEW! Youth Track for Grades 6–12

The Region Convention isn’t just for adults!

This year, students in 6th–12th grade are invited to experience a special Youth Track designed to help them connect with God, build friendships, have fun, and discover their place in the larger American Baptist family.

Throughout the weekend, students will join the full convention for some of the best parts of our time together—including shared worship, meals, and the Biblical Storytelling Workshop. At other times, they’ll break away for experiences created especially for teenagers, including:

    • Youth-focused worship and Bible study
    • Games and activities
    • Time to relax and connect with other students
    • Food and fellowship
    • A late-night Friday evening together
    • Opportunities to explore what it means to Lead with Wisdom in everyday life

Led by People Who Know Youth Ministry

The Youth Track will be led by Jesse Kracht, Youth Pastor at First Baptist Church of Fremont, and Ethan Arnold, Youth Pastor at First Baptist Church of Omaha, along with a team of trusted adult leaders.

Their goal is to create a welcoming environment where teenagers can be themselves, meet students from other churches, ask good questions about faith, and have a great weekend together.

One Convention. A Weekend Designed for Them.

We want our young people to know that they aren’t simply the future of the church—they are an important part of the church right now.

The Youth Track gives students their own space and experiences while also bringing generations together for worship, meals, learning, and fellowship. It’s a chance for teenagers to experience the wider church family while enjoying a weekend intentionally designed with them in mind.

    Grades: 6th–12th
Friday: Dinner, opening session, and youth evening activities
Saturday: Breakfast, worship, Biblical Storytelling Workshop, youth activities, closing worship, and more

Parents and youth leaders: Bring your students with you to the Region Convention and let them experience a convention that includes a place created especially for them.
