PHILOSOPHY OF ABBOYS & YOUNG MEN PURPOSE STATEMENT:
The purpose for a curriculum for ABBOYS & YOUNG MEN is to provide a valuable tool for local church leaders wanting to
gather boys and young men in a male, gender-specific environment. In the
context of that environment, ABBOYS & YOUNG MEN will be able to focus on
issues of faith and gender in the effort to grow toward being Christian males in
a culture moving into the 21st century.

OBJECTIVES OF ABBOYS & YOUNG MEN CURRICULUM:
- To gain knowledge in three focus areas:
- Personal Faith
- Personal Values
- Christian Discipleship
- To journey together through the variety of learning experiences provided; in a community consisting
of boys and young men their own age, leaders, and mentors that is conductive to
free expression of ideas and taking new steps of faith.
- To be challenged to express their faith and Christian discipleship through service in a variety of
areas:
- Their local communities
- Their church
- The world
